and features both a stainless IWC bracelet with striking engine turning on the deployment clasp, and a signed IWC buffalo leather strap which is in mint/new condition. The watch back is graced with a high-relief engraving of the famous Supermarine fighter, along with the edition and serial numbers. The original plastic protective film with IWC logo still covers the back. Unique to the Spitfire Mark XV watch is IWC’s magnificent presentation; each timepiece is cradled in a maroon calfskin case secured by a pushbutton closure, and is accompanied by a 1.6 meter long cashmere scarf embroidered with “IWC” and “Spitfire”. A full complement of paperwork and manuals is provided, including certificate of authenticity, operating manuals, and Supermarine and IWC Spitfire illustrated history. Tools are also included to adjust the stainless bracelet to size. The watch box, papers, tools and scarf are contained in a purpose-built IWC outer box (not pictured).
