1:12 Scale Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

A phenomenal, large-scale (1:12) image of the near-mythological Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa from the late ‘50s, progenitor of the legendary line of TR’s that dominated motor sports well into the 1960’s. This model represents the “pontoon-fendered” variety of TR; arguably the most desirable and iconic of the series. The model’s large size (approx. 13 ½ “ long) allowed the Italian manufacturer to incorporate a wealth of detail, from the beautiful wire wheels, to the delicate hood release pins and leather straps, to the engine’s turned velocity stacks, to the plethora of cockpit detail, including “glazed” instruments surrounded by chromed bezels and switchgear. The chassis’ tubular framework is also revealed within the cockpit. It’s all there, right down to the quartet of “megaphone” exhausts prominently displayed at the rear. Just like the real car, this model is drop-dead gorgeous, and will be an absolute attention getter at the center of any collection. #08 in an edition of only 50 worldwide.
