The 500 Formula 2 from 1952 is one of the most successful racing Ferraris of all time, winning all but one race to claim the ’52 championship. Piloted by the legendary Alberto Ascari, the diminutive monoposto claimed the 1953 championship as well. The Ferrari 625 was a development of the 500 F2, and competed in the 1954 season, gaining a top three place in nine of the races. Unfortunately for Ferrari, the Mercedes team and driver Juan Manuel Fangio were unstoppable that year, and eventually triumphed. These pristine 1/43 scale (approximately 4”) models from Historic Replicars capture the lines and feel of the cars extremely well, featuring clearly defined suspension and cockpit detail. These lovely miniatures would be perfect for a beginning collector or Ferrari enthusiast. Supplied with original boxes. In new, undisplayed condition. A Great value!
